Christchurch Cruise Tourism – Navigating the Choppy Waters of Social Licence

Patrick oversees the implementation of the Destination Management Plans for Ōtautahi Christchurch, Waitaha Canterbury, and Te Pātaka o Rākaihautū Banks Peninsula at ChristchurchNZ. Before joining ChristchurchNZ, he served as the General Manager of an iwi-owned tourism business that offered activities, hospitality, and accommodation.

Fifteen years ago, Patrick returned to New Zealand to join the tourism industry after a career in advertising and marketing within the telecommunications sector. As a new resident of Ōtautahi, Patrick and his family are enthusiastically exploring everything the city and Canterbury region have to offer.
