Jane is a dynamic and adventurous individual with a passion for travel and tourism.

After completing her studies in science, she embarked on an exciting journey that would shape her career and fuel her wanderlust. Joining the ranks of other Kiwis on the classic pilgrimage to Europe, Jane’s passion and curiosity for travel and tourism began when hosting visitors as a chalet girl in a French ski resort. She has been in the tourism sector ever since, working across wholesale, retail, and destination marketing.

Over the past two decades, Jane has made significant contributions to the field of tourism, channelling her expertise and passion into promoting various destinations including South Australia , New York City, and Tropical North Queensland. She is currently General Manager of Destination Great Lake Taupō, leading a team of dedicated professionals in spearheading initiatives that highlight the natural wonders, cultural heritage, and thrilling adventures offered throughout the Taupō region.
